A very tasty pu-erh. I did not appreciate it right away, but it became my benchmark for classic shou pu-erh. I would gladly buy a couple more cakes like this and let them sit and improve with age. Unfortunately, I already have plenty of tea, so I will not order any more for now.

Deep, rich flavor and aroma, moderately woody, with a very powerful aftertaste. No fishy notes or unpleasant odors: both the brewed tea leaves and the brewed tea smell delicious. It is very difficult to overbrew—even when steeped in a thermos, it tastes excellent.

It holds up to quite a lot of infusions; once, when I used a little more tea, it lasted for 10 or 11.
